Stop, Look, and Listen

Stop, look, and listen

I stop to look around. There were many images in sight. However, I walked up to a garden; and admire the colors of the flowers, picked a petal from a bunch of roses, and sniffed its beautiful aroma.

Sometimes you just need to stop and smell the roses. Especially in these chaotic times we live in. It is important for us to slow down. Take note of our surroundings.  Recognize how much worse life, could’ve been. No matter how difficult of a situation you are in, learn to embrace how fortunate you are; though you may not realize.

My personal motto in life, is to embrace being in the land of the living. Once you are alive and not lying on a hospital bed, you are much closer to happiness.  Closer to a level of happiness, that will help get you, to your desired destiny.  I must admit life is a struggle. But finding ways to allieviate low moods, can help you revamp and uplift your energy. The key is to get back up again when you fall.   Everyone of us have our own way of getting up from a fall. A bit of encouragement from a loved one, or trusted a trusted friend, may work for some. Others may need down time to assort emotions, or situations which caused them to be out of their element a bit. When your body is tired, your judgement is impaired. Which impedes your ability to fight stress.  “Stress” Stress itself is a stressful word.  Some experts proclaim stress is a huge contributor to illnesses and diseases, in the body.

What do you love to do, that uplifts your energy?                                                                                                                                                                                            If you are a sociable person, how about gathering some friends, to watch movies with. On the other hand, a not so sociable person, still need to interract with friends, who can help subside mood swings. It’s finding out what works for you, and let it work, that counts.                                                                                                                                                          Stop and smell the roses. Embrace the beauty of nature, all things surrounding it, and you a beautiful creation, who is a great contributor.
