Date Poem for: November Second, 2015

I used to try to write a date poem for every day of the month, going in order no matter how far I was behind (ie: writing a poem for the third of the month when it was the tenth of the month).

These days, as I think I may have said in a recent post, I decided to just write poems for whatever day it happened to be, so that I wouldn’t always be behind.  I’m just so busy lately that I don’t have the time to try to do a poem for every day of the month.

Yesterday, though, I had started to write  a “Date Poem” for November Second — yesterday –, and didn’t get around to finishing it until just a moment ago — today — November Third.  No sense not writing the rest of it just because the day I was writing it for had passed, right ? 😉

So, below is a “Date Poem” for November Second, (Two Thousand And Fifteen)–yesterday.

News these days

Often, it’s not good; people are

Very wicked; almost

Everything they do is done in hate,

Malice, selfishness or greed.

But, there is a cure that will work for

Everyone, a cure for the

Reprehensible acts of

Sin that keep us from the chance of

Ever entering Heaven.

“Come, ” Jesus says, “– and I will cast you

Old sins away and make your life

New.  ”  Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life: accept His invitation, please;

Don’t shut Him out.

… and, there is that poem.  Hopefully today I will be able to get on to one for the third of November — aka today.

As always, I appreciate that you’ve come by to read or at least take a quick peek at my post.  Thank you. 😀
