Natural treatments for oily skin
Oily skin happens to the best of us no matter who we are or where we work. Whether you are in show biz or merely one of the normal folks. It can be caused by any number of things from a poor diet, hormone changes, to hot & humid weather. Personally with me, I tends to get oily skin when that time of the month comes.
The first thing you need to do is clean your face. Wash it twice a day. This means you have to keep it squeaky clean folks. While some doctors recommend a detergent type of soap there are other’s who say to use a glycerin soap. You pretty much have to test them out for yourself. I personally use Dove, it seems to work well for me.
I wash my face in the morning and before going to bed.
During high school I was washing it once in the morning, around noon {I would go in the bathroom during lunch and wash it} and at night during my nightly routine. I really dislike having my face touched, so when someone touches it I wash it, even if it’s wiping it down with a Clorox wipe.
~ By wiping the oily parts of the face with rubbing alcohol or witch hazel can help clean up those oily spots just as well as the expensive stuff.
~ Pre-moistened Alcohol Wipes can be used for quick touch ups and better yet you can tuck them in your purse!
~ Grab a tissue and wipe the oily spots, those work in a cinch.
~ There are also oil-absorbing tissues that work well in cleaning up the oily spots.
~ The best yet.. Splash cold water on your face then wipe it a couple times a day and your set.
