The poem below leans more toward the traditional Acrostic, in that the poem itself is actually about the vertically spelled-out words.
I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God’s Holy Word. I will make it a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I will hide its word in my heart, that I might not sin against God.
Someone recently told me that “lots of things have changed” as far as things done in the church–like that’s a good thing. The Bible is the word of God . God said what He said in his word, and man has no right whatsoever to change what God said just because it’s more “comfortable” for them. People do it, but they’d better not think that God is pleased.
The Bible is the
Holy word of God.
Every verse and chapter in it is inspired
By Him. The Word says that anyone who dares to change one
Iota, one jot or tittle will be cursed;
But, man completely ignores that–they
Love their own ways rather than God’s. They
Even think that they have the right to change the
Inspired word of
So that it says what they want it to say.
The Bible warns against those with “itching ears”, those who
Heap unto themselves teachers that they
Elect, not because they preach the true
Word of God, but rather, because they
Only want to hear things that make them “feel good”. They don’t want to hear about
Repentance, and certainly not that they will go
Down to Hell because
Of their defiance of what the
Father has said !
God’s instructions are plain, and no man has the right to change them. If
Only foolish mankind would see that trying to change it to their liking only leads to
Damnation and destruction.

And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
~Revelation 22:19
